Revival and Visitation
I believe
God has given me a very relevant and powerful word for the body of Christ especially
during this season of revival and visitation. One of the telltale signs of
not only revival but the end times is what God is going to do in our homes
and in our families.
The family is a Godly institution and was formed by God
to show forth His Glory. As a matter of fact, the way Christ relates his relationship
with us, the church, is as a husband and a wife (Is. 62:5, Matt 25:1-13). Clearly
then this would be the area that the enemy would attack the greatest but we
as the body of Christ are not moved by the enemies tactics to scare us or sidetrack
us for God has given us His Word which is His promise to us.
In Malachi 4:6
it states: "He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the
hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the
land with a curse." This is something that can only be accomplished in the
Spirit. The turning of a heart is a deeper work than just a physical move from
one place to another. The turning of a heart signifies a relationship, a bond,
a true love.
While reading this scripture the Lord caused me to think of His
relationship with His Son while Jesus was here on Earth. When the sins of the
world were placed on Jesus while He hung on the cross, the Father had to turn
His head from His Son and allow the separation in spite of the love they had
for each other. Then Jesus died, went to Hell, took the keys of death, Hell
and the grave and is now seated at the right hand of the Father. Together now
in an even more Glorious relationship than ever before.
This is what the Holy
Spirit will do in our homes and in our families. Sin was the separation between
God the Father and the Son but once it was removed they were joined together
again in true love. The Holy Spirit will remove every separation and join the
generations together to fulfill God's original purpose for the family, to show
forth His Glory.
I feel to share this word not only to inform the body of Christ
on what is in our very near future but also to encourage the body of Christ
to hold fast to this promise. The Word of God is a sure foundation and will
never fail but it will come to pass in your life. Believe it and you shall
receive it!
In Christ's Love,
